OC Leadership Council

The Orange County Leadership Council serves as a forum for communication, collaboration, and partnership among organizations that support workforce and economic development in Orange County.  Through ongoing coordination across systems, the Leadership Council helps strengthen workforce initiatives, support key industries, and respond to the evolving needs of employers and job seekers.

The Leadership Council is committed to building a skilled workforce and securing resources that help Orange County businesses in high-demand and emerging industries thrive in a strong and growing economy.

Purpose

The Orange County Leadership Council supports workforce and economic development efforts by:

• Facilitating communication and information sharing among partners
• Encouraging collaboration and the exchange of ideas
• Pursuing and coordinating funding opportunities
• Responding to industry and workforce needs
• Exploring innovative strategies and models
• Sharing information on services, resources, funding opportunities, and proven practices
• Identifying and supporting industry-focused initiatives and projects
• Sharing successes, challenges, and lessons learned
• Connecting partners to resources, labor market information, referrals, and other support
