About OCWDB Members
All members of the OC Workforce Development Board (OCWDB) are appointed by the Orange County Board of Supervisors and represent local businesses, education entities, labor organizations, community-based organizations, economic development agencies, OC Workforce Solutions (formerly One-Stop) partners, and others as designated by Local Elected Officials. Over half the members represent the private sector, including owners, chief executives, operating officers, or other executives with optimum policymaking or hiring authority. The OCWDB targets specific industry representation.
In partnership with the Orange County Board of Supervisors, the Orange County Workforce Development Board (OCWDB) oversees Orange County's workforce development activities and establishes programs in response to the workforce needs of Orange County.
The OCWDB designs and implements programs and services for business, adults, youth and dislocated workers in accordance with its 5-year Strategic Local Plan. The Strategic Plan describes the Board's commitment in establishing a comprehensive workforce development system for Orange County.
